RSS CHANNELS AND KLIP FEED

Channels

We have two channels available. One sends out the complete text of the weekly newsletter each Saturday; the other tells you about new and updated pages on the Web site. The URLs for the two feeds are given below. Copy and paste them into your RSS reader to receive the feeds:

Newsletter: http://www.worldwidewords.org/rss/newsletter.xml
Site updates: http://www.worldwidewords.org/rss/updates.xml

About RSS

With the RSS system all the most recent content for you is automatically collected from all the channels you have subscribed to, so it’s ready for you when you want to view it.

You can access RSS using a reader program — sometimes called an aggregator — on your computer and tell it which RSS channels you want to receive. Alternatively, you can read your chosen channels using an online service that does much the same job.

Some Web browsers also now have RSS aggregator systems built in, though not all can display the newsletter.

Online RSS services

These include Bloglines, NewsGator, and Rojo.

RSS software

These are just some of the RSS readers available for MS Windows: Awasu; Bottom Feeder; Feed Demon; FeedReader; NewsGator; rssReader; and Syndirella.

Klip feed

Information about updates to the Web site is also available as a Klip feed. For details, and of the KlipFolio reader, see The Klip site. Click on the button below to add the World Wide Words update Klip feed to your KlipFolio reader.
