The newsletter is free. It is sent out on an irregular schedule whenever a new piece is added to the site. Each issue contains the text of the new piece, plus on occasion shorter items on language that have attracted my attention and linguistic blunders that correspondents have found in the press.
The World Wide Words mailing list was moved to a new system on 15 October 2014. If you are already subscribed, you have been automatically transferred to the new system. You will continue to receive mailings without your needing to do anything.
We have two channels available.
Monday to Friday a random piece from the archives is posted on Twitter and Facebook. You can also access this by RSS.
The World Wide Words newsletter mailing list is operated and managed on a Mailman list server which the editors of the LINGUIST list at Indiana University have very kindly made available.
